Compositions

Compositional services range from the creation of complete backing tracks to the arrangement of additional textural instrumentation to enhance your sound.

I'm also keen to provide remix services and all collaborations are gladly considered.

Many of my works are geared towards use within the media industry and I am particularly keen to work with any independent film or animation houses.

My compositional writing style stems from involvement within the live aspect of music creation. I have performed onstage and written music for musicians and groups across the South-West, covering genres including blues/folk, jazz, pop, rock, punk, metal, progressive, electronica, rap, percussion and drum 'n' bass.

Digital mixing and production

With several years experience of music technologies, I offer digital mixing and production of your music. I have a significant amount of my own equipment that can be used to create a professional sound at a reasonable cost.

Sequencing and mixing tutorials

One of my passions is sequencing and mixing using computer software. I have very thorough knowledge of Cubase, Nuendo and Logic, three of the industry's leading packages, and I am happy to share my skills through personal sequencing and mixing tutorials.

Session musician

I am an experienced session musician and can provide structured or improvised performances on the following instruments:

• Fretless bass

• Mandolin
• Percussion
• Synthesizer.

Instrument tuition

I have many years experience of electric and acoustic guitar and bass guitar. I am able to provide tuition for these instruments in and around the Plymouth area. In particular, I specialise in jam and improv techniques.
